Into Niagara Land..

Had a groovy time yesterday in Niagara Falls..it was super hot outside, spent it mostly at the Gardens amongst the giant sized hibiscus, ate at the Queenston Heights restaurant..yummy rainbow trout Peruvian ceviche n for dessert..Cabernet Sauvignon donut with black cherry icecream n fresh fruit..ooh-la-la..very delish!!! A tin of martian sour apple candies..these are so amazing!! I wonder if I should base my Halloween costume on becoming a 1970s movie martian..hmmmmm...Oh also you gotta try Starbucks Bliss Out chai latte rose blossom tea!! Sooo good!!!

I've done two more art pieces using water colors..The Neverending Story..i've been searching for it for like ever!! n i've never seen the 2nd part. Gonna meet up with friends at the mall n try out that new fusion food place.

Harry Potter Potion + Festival Haul

Om t-shirt (made in Nepal)..Harry Potter bottle necklace..rings i got..butterfly stone ring from the same place i got the hairpins, wooden peace ring, pale green stone ring, and the only one that cost a lot was the sterling silver elephant band ring..

Indian bangles from a hippie stall, same place i got the Harry Potter bottle..n the sand dollar necklace was made by the lady who made the hairpins..its soo groovy!!

Another fav. find were these awesome pants from India with groovy pompom tassles belt tie!!

Magical Outdoor Festival

Had a groovy time at Canal Days Festival, its their 40th Anniversary Celebration..the weather was dragon breath hot and dry..was thirsty all the time..not too many people, i was missing activities and rock n roll bands, no happy hands puppet show (i really like these guys!), no Zumba dancing which you can take part in, some vendors were missing too. But it was a lot of fun of course! We met this sweet old black man sitting on a bench who told us about the crow's nest on the Empire Sandy ship..he was the nicest guy we've ever met!!!!!

There was a Mexican stall selling churros..oh i got so excited!! I got 2 filled with dulce de leche..yummy!!!!! Also shared an elephant ear with cream cheese n strawberries.

i got this amazing Hawaiian drink bottle n i got to fill it with Jolly Rancher cherry slushie which actually tasted like toilet bowl water..ugh! but i did drink it all coz i was thirsty from the heat.

Thrift Shop Haul

On weekend, made a Hawaiian chicken rice bowl with pineapple chunks..it was soooo goood!!!!!!and finished it off with pineapple upside down cake (i didn't make this one, its store bought but very delish!!)
