Yeah what a groovy great album!! Incidentally, Purple Haze is not on it but I didn't get this album at all coz it was way too pricey!! But it is filled with amazing songs!

Thrift Haul

Finally found the perfect hippie winter coat!! I was super stoked to find it!! It was only $9.00.  Also found these awesome boots, wine coloured - I think its like Bordeaux..these are super comfy and great with mini skirts! These were originally $19.95 but I got them for only $15!! Also thrifted a black mini skirt with tie at front, turtleneck sweather, and my red beret was thrifted a while back.  Everything is thrifted except for my white winter tights which I got at Ardene.

Thrifted this amazing 1970s polyester zip-up from Black Market a while back..and I've been making flowers out of tissue paper with friends and passing them to anyone.."Spread the Love" campaign. And also got these psychedelic print leggings at Out of the Past..these were $15.

And of course, this is Bowie..he's a beautiful ginger tabby, but unfortunately, he's a stray that we've been feeding, he isn't neutered so we can't risk him coming inside and fighting with Marley..it would be dangerous for both cats, and besides, Bowie isn't that friendly and he doesn't want to come in anyways.  However, if he will eventually warm up to us and let us put him into a carrier, we could get him neutered and then Marley would have a friend.  If only this cat would've been a female!!

Strawberry Fields Forever

I placed this celestial sun/moon tapestry bed cover on..i love how it looks! Also I've put an old tapestry I got from Urban Outfitters a long while back over my butterfly chair..super groovy!! I've added concert tickets to my mood board..oh man, i'm jealous of anyone who was around in the 70s and were able to see Bowie live!! My two favourite musicians..Bob Marley and Bowie in frames I got thrifting.  As a hippie bordering on 1960s mod, I had to print out this super groovy Biba print for my closet..i hate that I can't remove the tape glue from the wall..I've tried but it seems to permenantly stuck.  Marley says "Hey Groovy Peeps!" And of course the Beatles!

Nordic Christmas Tree

Our Christmas tree theme this year is traditional red/green and Nordic. It is full of mushrooms, a Nordic elf named Sven, a Swedish angel named Johanna, some woodland creatures, and most decorations from Ikea.

Nordic Gingerbread House

Wanted to do something that is a bit of my background and we have also done the tree Nordic too. The best part of the house is the candy cane hearts..this was difficult to do actually because the small candy canes would break each time i'd try to take off the plastic wrap on them, so I had no choice but to leave the wrap on..i also used gummy stars and peppermints..i'm not that good when it comes to icing..it ends up a big mess, but all in all I think it turned out cute!

Road trip to Toronto thrifting was fun!! Not everything I thrifted is pictured..i will be doing a separate post & try-on soon.  Love this 1970s leather jacket a lot!! It was only $7.00 at Black Market.  I loved this turquoise suede 1970s jacket a lot but the feel of it was very hard..its like the suede hardened over time and it was very pricey!! I found this vintage floral print table runner which is perfect under my laptop, also this cute bamboo plant holder for the wall, and my most fav. find is this vintage floral print long skirt..yeah I would love to meet the real Elton!! Love the film Rocketman a lot!! Rock biopics rule!! Also can't wait to see the Bee Gees film!!

A while back in time when I visited an art gallery..flower mural of fun..things I like/things I dislike which I've done in the summer and still hasn't changed..still feel the same way (click on to enlargen)..1970s image video Still Corners - The Trip..70s art print..my outfit for weekend..sweater thrifted..my new groovy butterfly poster ordered from ebay..I heart it a lot!! On weekend, spending it with friends and going to a special American Eagle event..should be tons of fun!!
