Simple costume to do..just need a plain white t-shirt, black bowler hat, and for make up, I used orange eyeshadow and stuck a false eyelash on under my right eye..i don't have white pants, but you can use white denim, white painter pants, or I just use white tights..source:livebrum.co.uk.

Halloween Costume Ideas

Costume #1: Spider Girl..just need a cartoon-y wig, spider headband with matching spider leggings, and a plain black t-shirt..such a fast and easy costume to put together..
Costume #2: Goth Bride..simple black cardigan with long black tiered skirt with lace bead trimming along the bottom..cute Victorian hat with veil..bat ring accessory..
Costume #3: Broken Doll..this is my most fav. of the costumes..wearing a Be Happy sunflower t-shirt and retro floral print leggings..so easy to do!! Mystical eye tablecloth..i carved the celestial pumpkin yesterday and stuck lollipops for hair..i think it turned out super groovy!! And I love Halloween nail stickers! Watched "La LLorona" (The Weeping Woman) horror film last night and I liked it..it was sort of like Paranormal Activity..its nice to see a horror film that isn't gorey for a change! There were some funny bits in it..the shamen guy is so weird..haha! "are we going to egg the house?"

Lucy, my doll, has her Halloween costume on..well not really a costume coz she's gonna be wearing it all the time..I've always wanted her in a 1970s hippie dress and I was finally lucky to find one at the thrift shop.  Also love my 1970s floral print bedsheet, I just wish I could've found the exact pillowcases to match..my cactus keeps growing this giant sized arm..haha. And my Alexander Calder repro painting. Hope y'all having a great week!

Mom's B-day + Chucky Doll

Had loads of fun on mom's b-day even though I got the flu two times in a row!! I'm still feeling sick today..anyways, went out..all vintage glammed up..mom's lollipopped strawberry shortcake..mom being princess of the day..and one of the gifts I got mom - a Good Guy doll coz she loves Chucky a lot!!

We ate at a cafe..their pumpkin squash soup is so good!! I had the Mediterranean pasta salad with lemon olive oil dressing..soo good too!!! Went to choklad Shop and got these 2 amazing bon-bons..mom had the cappuchino chocolate & i had the fudgy nutty eyeball..yum!! Went to some shops, picked up the cake and came home to celebrate more..it was a groovy time!!

Fun Weekend

First part of the weekend, me and mom ate in our fav. place. Tried the maple glazed grilled salmon on quinoa and roasted potatoes..OMG..this was sooo good!!!! For dessert, I had the macchiato latte with a chocolate mousse bowl..yummm!!!!






Second part was on Sunday because it was warm and sunny outside..i made the black and orange garland for the staircase..nature fun..rode around on my tractor..wooo-hooo!!! *I wish it were mine!!* lots of spooky doors..i didn't find any demons behind them coz I was too scared to go inside..wrote my name on top of a look-out..& made roast ham with pineapple, smashed potatoes and red cabbage and then pumpkin pie..yummy!! Watched "The Ice Storm".  Today I woke up sick with a bad cold..ugh!!

Road Trip Haul

I found everything for my costume!! I found another maid costume that actally came with an apron, so I will have to cut that and transfer it on my other costume, I also found a small white doily..doilie?? I don't know how to spell that word, but its perfect for the maid headpiece! Stopped off for din-din..i love it that you can now get Shirley Temples anywhere!!Our server guy was hilarious! When I told him that I can't eat all my pumpkin pie coz i'm stuffed and I need a plastic container to take it home, he looked all serious and told me that I have to eat everything here, and i'm like whaaa?? but I knew he was kidding and he said, no its okay you can take it with you..hahaha..it was funny coz he got so serious and we cracked up laughing!

I love the stuff I found..retro flower power sunglasses, unique chunky artsy necklace and matching bracelets.  I also found a gothic vintage-y black cardigan, black tiered hippie skirt (keeping the Stevie Nicks witchy vibe going..), and a red plaid mini skirt.
