Been catching up on my reading during this horrible time! Yesterday me and mom went out in nature, tried walking around near the lake but it was too frigid and windy. Went for a ride and it feels like being in a ghost town, hardly anyone on the streets. It sux being cooped up most of the time inside..so been keeping busy spring cleaning, baking, watching films..i'm upset that my b-day is end of March and I won't be able to celebrate it out with friends coz restaurants have shut down..also i'm upset that I can't go thrifting anymore!

Living In A Surreal Movie

It was really insane going grocery shopping today in Niagara!! We went to 3 different places and no freakin' toilet paper or bread!!!! OMG!! It's terrible that most people think its the end of the world! Finally at Sobey's we found 2 packages of bread but its the sort of bread we never get..no wonderbread or Italian bread..so we got 1 package of bread and 1 package of bread rolls and then it was hard to find eggs! Yeah, insane!! So I found cheap carton of eggs for doing the Easter colourings, however, every carton had at least 2 or 3 broken eggs so I kind of had no choice but to be resourceful and take out the broken eggs and switch them with good eggs! heh! Anyways, all the hand sanitizers are gone every where and no toilet paper..thankfully we bought 2 packs last week! The grocer said that they are getting toilet paper eventually. I'm not sure when we will be in full lockdown like most places, but so far its not too bad here. But it all seems like a very bad horror film lately. Keep safe!!

It's been raining for 2 days now..umm..Friday went to Johnny Rocco's with friends, Saturday did lots of spring cleaning, and watched Hometown Horror, Sunday was spent helping a friend paint walls in her apartment, and Monday went to Pier 1 and it is heartbreaking that one of my fav. stores is closing for good!! It sux how many great stores are closing lately! Thankfully, Homesense is still around coz that is the only other place that carries exotic bohemian stuff. Picked up my fav. vegetarian pear tree pizza..and the giant green apple décor is from Homesense..I fell in love with it and I needed to bring it home with me..its so 1970s!
