Hippie Room Tour

I decided to put my mandala print rug on the wall coz it looks more like a tapestry instead..i think it looks way groovy!! Also I redid my shelfing..i had way too many books piled all over, so I removed most of what I don't use anymore and just kept my fav. diaries, Ikea mags, etc..and I like how my top shelf looks now with photos, succulents, incense etc..

In this corner on the wall I have my Ojos de Dios, the giant sized one was recently made. I also took off all the things I had on top of tv and decided to just put one thing, my Buddha to make it look more minamilistic.I tried to minimize my shelves as much as possible..it wasn't easy! I heart my Janis poster a lot!

I am still trying to organize my work space..and my other corner of the room looks pretty good..i added a new pillow I got thrifting recently..
My closet..it took me two hours to figure out how to organize the top shelf better and I love how it turned out.
My fav. vinyl album..Iron Butterfly! Also minimized the middle shelf by using it to store all my art supplies and sketch books, and paint brushes etc..

Some more items that I've recently thrifted..forgot to mention these in previous post..an art deco style vase (made in Portugal), love the print on it a lot!! Also a pirate treasure-like storage box, the Tree of Life dream catcher was not thrifted, but I did thrift this amazing Bonzai beaded tree with rocks inside a Chinese dish..bracelets I keep on it have also been thrifted.
I got this groovy Indian plant holder, my newly decorated bamboo drawers..i wanted to make it look more jungle-y.
My jewelry holder ..still using it to hold my jewelry..i heart my floral dress a lot!! My medallion necklace. Today was the first really warm day and it felt like summer..went hiking in the forest, had vegan ice cream, and walked barefoot on the grass and spoke to the daffodils along the way..

Large Hippie Haul

I heart my thrifted tiger t-shirt a lot..i am ready to do adventures with Evan in the Wild!! My Sprengeri plant is doing groovy!! It seems to love being in my room coz it has grown at least another inch!

Had a blast thrifting all day on Saturday!! Wow, did I find amazing stuff..like this hippie-style pillow with a tree on it, And there was another pillow inside of it with an autumn tree scene and in that one, there was another pillow..i love suprises like that!! :) Also the bamboo chair was thrifted and it now holds a plant.

This groovy hippie vest,i couldn't believe it that I finally found one of these..been looking for this ever since I saw Christina Ricci wearing one in the film "The Ice Storm"! Other clothing I got were a 1970s blue floral print skirt with rufflesears), also a tie-dye summer dress, and a batik print lounger.The best score was finding this celestial moon candle holder which I've been looking all over the place for..
This groovy bracelet with real stones on them..another groovy find!! And two vintage pot warmers, I think that's what they are called?
And this bamboo tray which I've used to hold my perfume bottles on..it ties in with my bedroom bohemian theme really great!

Two of my fav. health food lunches lately..sweet potato with wild lettuce and mushrooms and sunflower seeds..then the next pic is spinach with mandarin slices, pears, sunflower seeds, and vegan salad dressing. Been eating spinach and sunflowers seeds the most because its really good for the hair!
