4 new stones I got over the weekend..i heart the OPALITE, this stone is full of energy and its great for meditation! The orange colored stone is called BANDED CARNELIAN and this stone bathes you in courage as you face personal challenges, and the white sandy stone next to the crystal is called PICTURE JASPER, this stone is excellent for creative vision, initiative, and boosts confidence! I also got a stone with a hand on it which im not sure yet what it stands for? okay I think it means mindful serenity!And I got the fern in a glass bottle.

Mini Hippie Haul

Some things I found over the weekend..the wicker basket pot holder was thrifted and I just realised that it matches the African mirror I got a while back..a groovy Chinese style backpack from Free People that i got in the mail, these amazing yoga mat sandals, another plant holder & new double cactus plant.  Today the weather is finally like summer and i'm heading out to my art class.  Later groovie people!

Volcano Vesuvio

Mount Vesuvio - a set of vintage souvenir flip postcards, a total of 18..made in Napoli Italy in 1944! I came across this thrifting a few weeks ago. I couldn't pass up on that because I've been obsessed by volcanos since I was a child when we'd go to the museum and i'd play with the machine that showed a volcano erupting and thought it was fascinating..and then a few years back I discovered Hawaii Five O and I love the episode with the volcano..A Hawaiian Nightmare 1974. I love finding old skool vintage gems like this postcard set..its amazing!!And I found a 1970 vintage footage of a volcano eruption..

Easter Time

It was wintery cold during the Easter weekend..it took me a while to post these pics coz I've been busy with work. There were loads of pretty daffodils around..it seems like its spring but it feels like we are forever stuck in January! I have the winter syndrome blues again and its end of April..wow!

California Cactus

Harry in his new hat! I got this idea from Kevin the bearded dragon on Scaled..Kevin is way cool!!!! Also new bohemian plant holders..these were on sale so I got excited and got two of them..which one is the real plant??

Re-organized my room some more..I took out a lot of stuff that was on my walls inside my closet and it looks way better..i'm trying to minimize everything. The salt lamp used to be in the hallway but I think it looks way better in my room..it also has a lot of health benefits and clears the air which is great!


I love the celestial décor over my bed a lot.. I also took off all the pics I had inside the alcove and put my wooden elephant under my vintage mirror.

My Fav. Thing About Spring...

My favourite thing about spring is how everything becomes new again - like Mother Earth is breathing new life everywhere. The planet begins a journey of regrowth and the sun shining in my face as I lay back on the grass amongst a field of dandelions and the breeze is warm and soothing.

Hippie Room Tour

I decided to put my mandala print rug on the wall coz it looks more like a tapestry instead..i think it looks way groovy!! Also I redid my shelfing..i had way too many books piled all over, so I removed most of what I don't use anymore and just kept my fav. diaries, Ikea mags, etc..and I like how my top shelf looks now with photos, succulents, incense etc..

In this corner on the wall I have my Ojos de Dios, the giant sized one was recently made. I also took off all the things I had on top of tv and decided to just put one thing, my Buddha to make it look more minamilistic.I tried to minimize my shelves as much as possible..it wasn't easy! I heart my Janis poster a lot!

I am still trying to organize my work space..and my other corner of the room looks pretty good..i added a new pillow I got thrifting recently..
My closet..it took me two hours to figure out how to organize the top shelf better and I love how it turned out.
My fav. vinyl album..Iron Butterfly! Also minimized the middle shelf by using it to store all my art supplies and sketch books, and paint brushes etc..
