Updated Boho Room Tour

It took me a while to reorganize everything including placing my bed in the middle when it used to be against the wall on the side corner..i think it looks way better!! More easy breathing room, more space this way..yeah.  I love my new forest scene tapestry and my nature flower picture on canvas, I got both of these from Shein.  I've been wanting a forest tapestry since seeing it on a_little_bohohippie_home Instagram! I was super duper thrilled that I was able to find one! I've also organized my makeup table area but its still in progress.  

Mushroom Earrings Haul

Shein earrings haul..all about those crazy groovy mushrooms!! I got 2 pairs of neon mushrooms, they are huge!! One is pink (it looks more like orange online) and the other is yellow.  I've been wanting these for quite some time when I first saw them at Marina Fini but it was too pricey (I got 2 pairs for $6.00!!).  I love my sparkly mushroom earrings a lot too, and I also like the realistic nature mushroom earrings too, a bit heavy though!

Hippie Shein Haul

Does anyone like the new system of blogging?? Why did they have to change it?? Its taking me like forever to figure it out..its so frustrating!! Anyways, I got these groovy things in the mail recently..lovin' my patchwork bellbottoms a lot and I got a package of 90s butterfly hairclips..i was disappointed that they were small compared to the ones I got a while back from forever21 but the colours are way groovy!!

Come Sail Away

Have been reorganizing my rooms, minimizing space once again, got new stuff in the mail (will post soon), getting rid of so many stuff from the basement, bringing stuff for charity..waiting for a rainy cool day to go through closets again, its been way too hot..relooking through all my Ikea catalogues to give me ideas for space, storage etc..Did a bit of crafts, made these pipecleaner retro daisies and put them in my 1970s vase which I thrifted last year. The fairy b-day gift is from my mom..love!!

Went on a long nature hike in the woods..it was so peaceful near the lake with the tiny swamp area being my flower child hippie self sitting on top of a mini Stone Henge and not thinking of anything at all..just relaxing..

Modern Psychedelic Bands

Kula Shaker have been one of my most fav. bands for a long while!! They are from London, singer is dreamy Crispian Mills, and their music is heavily influenced by East Indian sounds. On the track Sound of Drums, you can hear The Doors style keyboard which reminds me of Light My Fire. Next up is Mystic Braves are an amazing American band from LA, and they are influenced by 60s psychedelic bands like The Seeds.  Temples are groovy psychedelic band from the UK.  Love their haunting vocals, and their videos are groovy!! Levitation Room, 60s rock with a hint of psychedelica, again from the LA area, super groovy beats!!Of course..The Babe Rainbow..love these guys loads!! They even have their own hippie bus..WOOT!WOOT! This video was taken from a 1971 documentary..Far-Out!! And last but not least, OMG!!! Where did this amazing groovy guy come from??? Lewis Floyd Henry..He reincarnated Hendrix!! Wow!!

Psychedelic Art

Recent artwork created in the humid hot sunshine..mushrooms, a hippie sign inspired by the film Psych-Out, and psyschedelic swirls.  Not been doing much lately except reorganizing the basement, getting rid of stuff, because its so much cooler downstairs when its like 41 humidity!!

A Visit From Bambi

A few days ago we were visited by a beautiful deer..Bambi seemed to love our place and was looking at the side of our house. It was straight out of a fairy tale!!

Tambourine, Anyone?

Do you enjoy your own company? I create art when i'm alone. Here's a few new groovy pieces I recently did outside on the patio when it was humid (+40)..a 1960s inspired hippie tambourine, and a wooden moon hanger.  I also like to go on nature adventures, play dress-up, sing, and hula hoop.
