neutral boho shelf makeover..

reorganized my office..i minimized stuff & went for more neutral colours & just a pop of colour here & there & more bamboo storage for crafting art projects..

a sunday in my life..

started off the morning by eating cheetah chomps berry blast cereal..this is so delicious!! & very healthy! also bought it to support saving cheetahs (African Wildlife Foundation)..some of the amazing things in this cereal are pomegranate, raspberry, strawberry & black carrot juices, kale, broccoli, spinach, beet, green cabbage, parsley, etc..

went on a long nature hike through a rain forest..saw beautiful tropical plants & this beautiful flower..

nature garden..where i discovered a pretty little snail..& i collected this fuzzy plant..

i had painted my two side tables from horrible yellow to white & by the time i got home they were both dry & then i made homemade cream of broccoli soup with ciabatta buttered bread on the side & studied a little..

new boho desk..

this is my newly painted work desk..it took me 3 coats of white paint to get rid of the awful yellow & i love how it turned out! this desk used to be my makeup table in my bedroom & i used to have a dark wood desk in the work room..this was the before..

its hard to believe how quickly summer went by, but i am looking forward to autumn..

squash and a mantis..

wow..i cannot believe this!! squash garden in backyard came out of nowhere..i love squash so this is amazing to see! also i found a beautiful praying mantis who was willing to have a photo taken..amazing creatures!

1970s boho shelfie..

i've been so busy redoing my room..i want a more 1970s bohemian look & i'm so far loving how its turning out..this is my top shelf, i have two more to do..also my desk is taking a long time to dry & its 40 humidex outside..so hot!! been eating a lot of popsicles, rice cakes, jalapeno chips (eating super spicy foods is good when its very hot daze), ice-teas, carrot soup, & listening to abba..

found this green plant pot, bohemian glass storage with cute cork ball lid, and a pretty mug..

also got a cute gothic wooden cross necklace, revlon metallic pink nailpolish, set of 3  bangles, and heart shaped sunnies..love everything!!

also got a plain cardboard box with lid & i painted swirl pattern on it..i think it turned out quite groovy!

took a break from painting an old skool desk to have yummy lebanese food..falafel balls with pita & hummus dip that i picked up from the grocers on way home from class..

i've put up my beautiful tapestry(i've had this for a while & used to use it as a chair covering..i like it better on the wall!) its got chinese proverbs on it..moon pillow, boho sun pillow was thrifted..

a friday in my life..

in the morning, headed to uni to pick up some books & enroll for classes..it was super windy & chilly outside & nearly froze in my hippie dress & jean jacket..

at 1:25 pm stopped off at a vegan cafe to meet up with friends & work online, then we checked out the halloween shop & a weird angry pumpkin scared us!

at around 5:00 pm, got these pants at Zara..are so ridiculously cool that i had to have them, super psychedelic!!! 6:45 pm, came home & organanisized my mood board..

7:35 pm sat down with mommy to eat potato gnocchi with mozzerella & onions & for dessert, italian icecream meringue cake...yummm!! 8:00 pm, cleaned room & then we watched "vertigo"..
