My drawing of Jimmy Page, guitar God of Led Zeppelin. I had this pic hanging in my locker and some guy came up to me and said he's interested in buying it, but he never showed up afterwards. But its groovy that someone actually wanted my artwork.:) Its been hot and humid for several days now and it wasn't fun sitting in a stuffy hot oven classroom today, and i could not concentrate at all. I was having one of my Jorge Jesus daydreams..that chico is muy caliente!! Anyways, I'm looking forward to CNN's THE 70s..that is gonna be soo exciting to watch!!!!! I think its on June 11th at 8:00 pm. And of course i'm gonna be watching America's Got Talent..i love when its really weird and people do the strangest things..they rule!!

not done yet

 Its been a heatwave since Thursday at 30 degrees but it cooled down to 12 degrees at night..ugh. Mother's Day was fun, we went to the Botannical Gardens and hung around the swamps listening to bullfrogs sing and I bought my mom a ladybug leather wallet from the Butterfly shop, also saw fruit bats, a tiny crocodile, and some other amazing animals and reptiles inside the place. Then on way home, stopped off for some KFC bucket and ate outside on the patio. Hope everyone's day was groovy!
I've been listening to a lot of Soja (Soldiers of Jah Army)lately..i've become obssessed with the lead singer Jacob..soo cute!!Anyways, i heart reggae and this band is so amazing! If you don't know of them, please check them out.

rainforest + taste test thursday

Here's some of my favourite health foods lately:
Arthur's strawberry rainforest smoothie..all natural ingredients with strawberries and acai pronounced ah-sigh-ee..i never know how to say this word, i usually say it as akaasia..LOL. okay now i will say it properly from now on. It tastes more like blackberries to me but its so delicious that i hope they sell this in a larger bottle!

Potato squares all natural..no trans fats..ummm..this has to be my most fav. chips ever..it tastes like baked potatos..its so good! its got turmeric in it which is very healthy for the body and garlic in it which is very subtle.

First off, i heart the packaging a lot!! I love lemurs since i first saw one on Zaboomafoo show..when he does a burp and twirls around and becomes the stuffed animal version of the real one. I wish they would've kept the real one on the whole show instead. Anyways, i loved watching this when i was much younger. The cereal is made out of lots of organic stuff, organic cocoa, corn meal, peanut butter, cane juice etc..I can't taste the peanut butter, its more like chocolate taste to me, and the lighter ones are like vanilla. I like the milk when it turns to chocolate milk and i just drink that afterwards..soo yummy!!

And Campbells homestyle rustic lentil soup is something i cannot get enough of!! Its the best tasting soup ever!! Its has a bit of a spicy kick to it too and carrots.

The weather totally sucks!!!! Really, when are we going to see grass?? When will the sun come out?? When will it be at least zero degrees so that the snow will start finally melting away?? What is wrong with Southern Ontario?? Anyways, I'm feeling so depressed and restless and lazy and not feeling like doing anything coz of the weather, its so freezing cold too!! And the heating system at school decided to break down..ugh! At least we got home earlier than usual. So i did what anyone would like to see when there is too much snow and cold..i did some of my favourite summer images list consisting of the above photos of butterflies, the ocean, sand, daisies, watermelon, rainforest, lazing at the pool, yogen fruz icecream etc..

I found this amazing stain glass triangle necklace charm when i went thrifting yesterday after school. Wow, i couldn't believe it!! Coz this is also being sold at etsy.com. Mine was only 99cents. I really hit the jackpot this time around. I also found this bohemian skirt..
My fairydoll i got a while ago, she hangs on the back of my door and i love how her wings sparkle.
Had an Oscar party on Sunday with friends..here's all the food that i made during the ceremonies:
Appetizers: Greek salad, boccacini, marinated button mushrooms. H'or Doevres: egg dijon and cream cheese cucumber finger sandwiches with various olives. Dessert: milk chocolate enrobed profiteroles. Snackies: Lay's wavy milk chocolate chips (OMG, these are soo yummy!!), Mmm Mix consisting of dried fruits and cashews, Pizza veggie chips, beer nuts, Lindt bonbons, Vegan Nana Banana cookie bars. After midnight: Cheese platter consisting of 2 sorts of grapes, ritz crackers, Norway Jalsberg smoked cheese + babybel served with iced cranberry pomegranate tea. We all thought the award show was boring, Stew loved Lady Ga-Gas outfit with red kitchen rubber gloves, and were surprised that "Birdman" won.

This amazing mushroom tie-dye t-shirt..OMG, i heart this tonz!!So pretty these mushroom earrings!! I've been searching for mushroom earrings for a while now.I love patchwork pants and skirts..these are way too pricey at $111.70..eeep!!



This amazing vintage hippie blouse of ecru polyester fabric and butterfly sleeves. I really want this one but it does look too small for me.:( slouchie tree beanie..me want want want right now!! I love the colour of it, and the tree, oh wow, this is so earthy and amazing!And these groovy boots are so amazing!! This reminds me of the boots Penny Lane (Kate Hudson) wears in Almost Famous.

my dosha is pitta

I saw this amazing Jim Morrison Venice Beach 1966 necklace on etsy.com and I'm going to try to re-create it myself using pony beads and making it simpler by beading through those stretchy cords you can get at the dollar tree.

I made this on Sunday and there's enough to last a whole week and its soo delicious!!!! especially the taste of fennel seeds..mmm! Even my mom is hooked on it. It really makes my stomach feel better because I have upset stomach issues a lot so this really helps.

This is an elephant drawing i did, i heart elephants and i love to draw them a lot!
I went thrifting over the weekend and i got mostly stuff for my b-day and a groovy thumb ring which has triangles around it and when the light hits it, it makes a kaleidoscope-like effect, a silver daisy ring with attached baby daisy, and a white porcelain elephant with its trunk raised and it has gold tusks, so pretty! Valentine's Day was good, didn't go out coz of the cold and snowy weather so i made my usually Ole Mole Mexican chocolate chicken with rice and it was so yummy!! This is what i always cook on Valentine's. I got a pretty unicorn necklace from a friend, Laura Secord mint chocolate bars, and from my mom, an Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume set. This is my fav. perfume scent ever!! We watched "Chocolat", such a cute film! I don't know what else to say other then its still frigidly cold here, thankfully i don't have to freeze at the bus stop to get to school, i get a drive there from my friend Maria, she is the bestest friend!! Classes are boring me lately, i don't have much motivation for anything, ummm..i just want it to be spring already! Hope you all are doing groovy!

I recently made this cd consisting of psychedelic/hippie songs that remind me of summer and wishing i could find a time machine and travel back to 1969 and go to the Woodstock Festival and see my guitar God Hendrix!! (image via: pinterest). The snow is finally melting today..yay! Watched the Grammies..i forgot to mention that..umm..yeah it was really boring!! AC/DC was the best one of the night. I did like ELO's performance of Mr. Blue Sky. And i didn't understand why Sia sang to the wall??LOL.
