Mandala Boho Rug + Other Goodies..

Yesterday after classes I went to Jysk and I found this amazing Mandala print carpet/tapestry on sale so of course I grabbed it! And then at the Dollarstore, I found two sun/moon wall décor..these are super cute!! I will be putting them on the wall over my bed.  I'm going to be reorganizing my room again soon.  I also found this cute sunflower bucket, I will use it to hold all my yarn.  I got an early b-day present from my boyfriend..i heart lilies and purple daisies..also got an exotic plant for my b-day..I don't know what these are called but I think they come from Brazil.  A week ago I saw "Green Book" and loved the film a lot!! I thought Viggo played an Italian really good! Both actors in the film were amazing! There's some funny bits in it too.  Highly recommend it!  Lovin': buckwheat wild berry organic waffles, made good chocolate chip granola bars, broccoli crisps, Trading Spaces, Elf cosmetics..

1970s mug which was made in England and it is a Staffordshire royal alma boho daisy mug..I got this for only $2.49 and they are selling these on Etsy for like $17.95! Wow! I was super thrilled to find this guy. I don't want to drink tea in it, i'm afraid to break it, so I will use it to plant a cactus. I love seeing flowers blooming which is a sign that spring is finally coming!

New thrifted thing is the little wicker basket I keep my art markers in..i had them in a boring pink metal container before..this is so much more Bohemian! I put a plant behind my laptop to create a jungle vibe..lovin it a lot!! The 7 Chakras I found on Instagram and I thought it was way groovy! I drew it for myself in my journal.
THE MOON:
This is the planet that rules the Sacral Chakra - the moon is the symbol of femininity - our desires and passions can move great oceans of energy (sacral chakra = element is water), the moon rules the unconscious, the mysterious, the unseen, the dark, as we move from our depths outward to create change in the world..

School of Trades 1967

School break..woot! woot! This is my new car..how groovy! *I wish*Been thrifting a lot lately..I have so many things to show but its just been hectic..i love my new boots which I got from Plato's Closet..I've been wearing these a lot. Super comfy! Soft suede with cord tie-ups and I love the buckles around the ankles, they remind me of cowboy spurs. I love sunsets coming through the kitchen curtains, my new fav. health snack..crispy broccoli chips, a bit hard to bite into but it really tastes good! and I love our new shower curtain, its a tree..yay! Very springy. And I can't get enough of these..Gyoza vegetable dumplings..soo yummy! And I've been watching a lot of Animal Planet..Animal Cribs and Scaled are my 2 fav. shows.  I now know what a skink is.

Hippie Fashion For the Summer

I got some new hippie dresses for the summer..it looks like we might be skipping spring..its way way too frigid for March! The first dress has more of a vintage vibe to it, its red with tiny floral print and I got this at Ardene's on sale at a ridiculously low price! The next dress was ordered from a hippie clothing shop (I can't really remember coz I got this in November) and I love how it looks with this Indian belt accessory!! The green dress is from an Indian shop and it has amazing embroidery detailing and sequins and I accessorized with long wooden African bead necklace.  A deer family keeps visiting us for a week now..they are 7 of them and gorgeous!! Fleetwood Mac has been playing everywhere and this song has been in my head ever since. Love it!!

Middle Earth

My new plant, Saffron, she is a schefflera and she loves her new home in a groovy watering can, vegan comfort food - baked bread in the oven with vegan cheese, red peppers, and tomatoes, a long bohemian keychain I made with beads and straw..looks way cool!! A pretty giraffe I picked up at Dot Furniture store a while back, it was on sale, "Exploring Space" painting I did a while ago, and two hippie pics. My computer died last week and its taking me this long to learn the laptop..its not been easy, I just figured out how to upload photos today. Ummm..yeah, I'm also relearning to play Bohemian Rhapsody on the piano since loving the film so much and reconnecting with Queen's awesome music! It seems like we are permanently stuck in winter..too much snow storms lately and there is a family of deer living around us, love that we are so close to nature, like middle earth.
