boho 1980s funky room..

its sort of a mix of hippie & 80s stuff..i searched 80s rooms online, mostly they are very pastel-y, so i'm still working on it..i love molly ringwald's room in pretty in pink, i noticed she has a mondrian on her wall, i own a mondrian art book so i cut out what i liked & put it up..i also have been doing 80s artwork & i've done a few on the band fuzzbox..i heart them!! i also found a neon green belt from the 80s last time i went thrifting..

my modern artwork with 80s bold colours + closet which has a mix of hippie & 80s stuff..i found a red & white striped t-shirt dress..i know that stripes & t-shirt dresses were very popular in the 80s..i know that hippie stuff was also very in then too, especially grateful dead concerts!

i redid my mood board & put on my latest 80s drawings..i love the punk/goth 80s scene too!! & the most exciting find ever at the flea market..cyndi lauper barbie collector's doll (it was a bit pricey but i really really wanted it!!)

fuzzbox..

i just discovered this all girl band from the 1980s..omg! they are sooo cool!!!! i love their music & style a lot!! i really want to find their cd! i went to the flea market a few days ago & i found some 1980s bands on cds that made me super happy! i think the 1980s are such a fun decade!!! someone wrote this "80s was a time of expression, being big bold & out there as opposed to today's fashion which is drab and fear!" yup! totally!! i dislike the decade now so i always try to find other decades to have fun with! pic source: pinterest

baby robins..

we have baby birds and i was able to take pics of mama bird feeding her three babies..i love how in the 2nd photo, one of the baby birds is looking directly into the camera!! sooo awesome!! i just learnt that robins are a sign from heaven, they bring message from a loved one that they are at peace, also they are a symbol of luck, happiness and rebirth..

beach day photo dump..

it was soooo hot & humid that we took off for the port dalhousie beach..it was fun!! best part was walking in the wet sand & having giant waves crash on the shore..& i tried to make a peace sign in the sand before the water made it disappear..water is my element & i felt so happy being here!

hippie haul..

groovy sticker from hard rock shop..pretty much the only thing i could afford from there..

the rock n roll shop had amazing prices..i got a hippie patchwork jumper & patchwork skirt & a wall deco guitar..

secret garden shop, got two Indigenous dream catchers, hippie bracelets, a cute elephant..

other shops, i got two boho hippie necklaces and this amazing big aventurine stone ring..

stopped off at the candy shop & got a moving snake toy for Marley (he loves it!!), cute flip-flop filled with candies, fruit gummies, watermelon flavored lolly, and dunkin chocolates jelly donut..

giant eel and giant fish at the rainforest shop..no shark anymore, i'm hoping that it was released back to the ocean! this tank was way too small for it.

bohemian minimal shelf space..

i redid my shelves in the office a while back..i had way too many things stacked together so i decided to put most of the stuff away and arrange books a better way and tried to have more space inbetween things..i love how it turned out and its way better than it was before..

mini bohemian haul..

i got 3 books for $10.00 at chapters yesterday..one of the books i got for my mom which isn't pictured..i think its a thriller called gone..anyways, i was drawn to upanishads - firstly the cover is so beautiful! the name means to sit with a guru and its a collection of texts about enlightenment and mystical knowledge..and i was interested in reading something by nietzsche for a while now..i like philosophy..anyways, my boyfriend recommended i should get this..

i also got a zara boho bracelet with tassles (on sale for $2.50!) - its very African..soo groovy!! and a hippie coin bracelet, and i heart this shade of nail polish, its called taupe the space needle..

this artisan boho square amber ring, and rainforest perfume..amazing scent!
